Laser hair removal offers a permanent alternative to waxing, shaving, epilating, and other hair removal methods.
Is it permanent?
The hair that is destroyed by laser hair removal will never grow back,however, there is such a thing as dormant hair follicles that may not have been active at the time of treatment, but can become active later in life. This is mostly due to hormonal influence, and often occurs on the face for women during menopause. For this reason, touch up treatments may be required eventually.
How many treatments will I need?
You will notice significant results after 1-2 treatments, but to be completely hair free, multiple treatments (Between 6-8) are required.
How does it work?
Red laser light is attracted to dark pigment (So only dark-haired individuals are able to get laser hair removal) the heat energy from the laser light damages the hair follicle to the extent that it is no longer able to produce a hair.
Why Candela Laser?
We use an Alexandrite Candela GentleLase Laser, which is a red light laser with patented cryogen cooling spray technology. This means that the treatment is far more comfortable and safe that treatments performed with some other lasers, as it protects and cools the skin.
